Just got home from the Good Vibrations Unschooling Conference in San Diego. Wow! What a great time. I think I have a blog post (or two) percolating in my fevered brain.

Have you registered yet? If not, you only have FOUR more days (including today) to get it done. Registration CLOSES this Tuesday, Aug 30!

A reminder for the dads (and dad-equivalents) out there. There will be TWO, count 'em TWO, SSUDs meetings, as well as a Q&A Dads' Panel session where everybody is welcome to ask questions of a panel of experienced unschooling dads. I know we're not as active as the women on this site and elsewhere, but here's your chance to connect and speak freely and openly.

The Good Vibationas conference is quickly approaching and there are some
important deadlines you might not want to miss out on!

AUGUST 8TH: Hotel room reservation block for conference goers. After this date,
you will not be guaranteed a room at the hotel. Be sure to book TODAY!

AUGUST 10TH: T-Shirt orders. The T-shirts look great this year! You don't want
to miss out on this fun reminder to wear throughout the year until the next
GV!!!

AUGUST 26TH: Surfing lessons! So much fun had at the last conference, the photos

Register and book your hotel room today. It really is so much fun to stay at the
hotel if you're able to. There's lots of really fun Funshops happening. My
daughter, Olivia is hosting a Ninjago Lego Funshop. There's also going to be a
full art room hosted by Spramani E'Laun and Nature of Art Kids. Many great
speakers including Sandra Dodd, Blake Boles, Phil Biegler, Robin Coburn, Holly
Dodd, Ronnie Maier, and Tiffani Bearup. The chat circles are a great intimate
opportunity to ask questions about unschooling . And, you're sure to have lots
of fun at the many activities planned; beach potluck, pool party, surfing
lessons, artisan bazaar, & more!

If you have any great ideas for a Funshop, something your kids are passionate
about or that you are passionate about be sure to sign up under the Funshop

Our family is attending. My wife, Ronnie, will be speaking and I'll be moderating a dads' panel (for everyone to question experienced unschooling dads) and the SSUDs meeting (for dads only but for all dads, experienced or brand-new).
