Monkey Platter Festival

Three day series of activities in Albuquerque for unschoolers, especially with younger children, Tuesday November 10 - Thursday November 12. Much playing, very little "speaking," though Beth Fuller and I will speak Thursday morning.

$10 per person plus entry fees for Explora (notes on reciprocal entry are at the site)

It will be young-child friendly, but older kids who'd be interested in hanging out with moms or younger kids could probably still have fun, especially Wednesday at Explora or Thursday at the water park (however limited it may be; who knows what their progress is toward completion). Or maybe find a sitter and come to hang out with the other moms!

It sounds like a very good time, I'm putting it in the "definitely to be considered" mental folder. We'll see how the family enjoys Good Vibrations and decide if another big(ish) gathering is desired this year. :)

Thanks for the invitation, Sandra. I'm eager to hear more details on this. I'd gotten the impression it would be geared a bit younger than my kids, tho we're always up for a day at Explora and the waterpark sound fun, tho it's not always Andy's thing.

We'll likely be interested in it, or at least parts of the three days of activities.
