Local RU Support Meetings?

Is it appropriate to list local RU support meetings in the events list?

I was going to add it to my group, but I'm not finding an events section of the groups page.

What you could do is create a NING network specifically for your local group and post a link in your RUN group so that people can find it easily.

That's kinda what Ren and Laura did with Imagination Tribe. And I'm sure if people wanted to split up and make local IT networks, that's just what Ren is hoping for.

Maybe it's the same with local RUs support meetups?

i think you should list anything you want in the events section. if it's happening, it's an event, no matter where or who. you can put a link to it in your group, you can put a link to your group in the event, you can make a quick trick chick stack, you can make a quick trick clock stack...

The Unschooling America Website http://www.unschoolingamerica.com has a state-by-state listing of unschooling meetings/ play groups and things like that. You can even register to be a facilitator, they have support for that, helping others along their RU journey.
