Radical Unschoolers Network

the network for radical unschooling families

i have been asked by several members if it would be possible to make the RUN site private. i would like to know how others feel about that. it would simply mean that no one could even look at the site unless they were a member. the main reason i didn't want to do that is because i want unschooling information to be OUT THERE for people to get at, to read and learn about it without having to join every list or site they come across. this being a social network and not JUST an information network makes that a little sticky.

so, until i decide whether or not to go private, if you really really don't want anything to be seen by the general public, don't put it on your profile or anywhere on the site.

let me know what you think about this.

hello everyone,
this absolutely has to stay the same "an open site", I have directed many people towards looking at this site when they are unsure of their plans for the future.
i even put a link to the site when i was writing my sons annual local authority educational report!
