Radical Unschoolers Network

the network for radical unschooling families

We've decided to move to Ashland, Oregon later this year and would love to correspond with families living there.

Thanks!

hi jan!

we are based near ashland...
we live in the mountains about 15 miles east on the 66, in the greensprings, in a tipi village! We go to town at least once a week these days, and I am currently on the hunt for more folks to build our unschooling community with. I am not sure I can(want to) handle another winter in the tipi, and am thinking of either getting a cabin nearby, or joining a larger community with more kids... possibly homesteading in the applegate or farther south. It is great to find another family unschooler in ashland - perhaps we could collaborate and find yet more folks, to make it a really sustainable place for unschoolers. I like ashland a lot, and the lands around it are fruitful and wild.

when are you coming to ashland, how old are your kids (mine is 5), what is your vision (I love talking dreams - have a hard time being "realistic" sometimes)?

looking forward to meeting you!

Thanks for writing! We're probably not moving until spring but will be visiting again before then. I have one son, Jason, age 28, who unschooled from the beginning.

Hope we can meet some time!

I'd love to hear what you're thinking of Ashland is, so far. It's at the top of our list of places we might choose for our new home. :-)

Lots of love to you,

Wendi
