forums: threaded or flat

i had a request that we try the forums in a flat/chronological order instead of the threaded. so i changed it to see what sort of difference it made. let me know what you think.

I haven't even looked and I vote "flat." I was getting quite confused!!

I vote flat, too. When a thread is really active, I follow along, which means multiple emails in my box, each with a link to follow. I'd find it much easier to be able to read thru them chronologically.

well i guess that pretty much settles it. yeah 5 out of 1300 or so isn't exactly unanimous, but 5 out of 5 is =)

In such a case you say "no opposition."
And unless you got at least three REALLY good arguments for keeping threaded it would be "no substantive opposition."
