Why does my husband think it's a good idea to trim his moustache with my kitchen shears in the kitchen?

(That's what he was up to last night...just thought I'd toss that out there; not really expecting an answer. lol)
Hee hee.. I got a mental picture of some guy standing in the kitchen, trimming his mustache, sans mirror.
1. Do you wonder just how far space goes? Forever or does it end in a box,a circle? What do scientists think. What do you think?

What do I think.... dunno but I hope it really is infinite.

2. I am not christian but how heard that god put us here because he was lonely? If we were souls with him in heaven why have us leave there to come here only to return there?

To give the gift of freedom and a journey of our own.... to call our lives our own essentially.

3. Are you atheist? If so, how did you decide that?

I'm not one.

4. Why is there so much salt water surrounding us but we can't drink it but can eat it in our food every day?

It's good to have some time apart maybe?

5. Why are men and women so different in our way of communicating?

Just for the heck of it. Nah.... actually I think communication can be very different from man to man as well as from woman to woman. Communication is connected to the way a person thinks.

Illustration: Last night, I was watching Lord of the Rings: Two Towers (extended version for those who want to know). It was interesting what Gimli and Legolas had to say about their environment when they entered Fangorn Forest. Legolas had just stated in awe that the trees were talking to one another, and Gimli remarked sarcastically that it must be about the consistency of squirrel droppings. Verra different perspectives, eh?

Cool Fun Questions!

1. Yes, I do. It's ultimately fascinating and sometimes a tad bit frightening to me to wonder about just how magnificently huge this whole universe thing really is. I often sit around and daydream and get lost in thousands of questions about #1. It usually leads me off to something totally itty bitty and tiny and just kind of comforting myself with the fact that there's usually another whole universe to wonder about in something that's so tiny. :D

2. LOL About #2. That sounds kind of ridiculous. I've never heard that one before. But, I did hear that the only way God can make more souls is to have them "born" into life. Which, I don't really get much about God. I believe there's something there.... whether it be GOD or just some kind of energy field or spirits that have passed on to whatever is next.. or it could pretty much be anything, in my mind. But, I feel like something is there... so, I told "GOD" or whatever it is.. that I hope s/he'll be happy with my decision to just "not know" And explore all kind of beliefs and sciences and love all kinds of different answers. They are all kind of fascinating to me.

3. I'm not exactly an atheist, like I said.. I believe something is there. I dunno what it is.. It could simply be the underlying connection one thing has to all other things... but, at any rate.. I think whatever it is - it is a power greater than myself, and for lack of a better simplifying term I generally call "it" God, which makes me not an atheist . But, it also alienates me from any religion, pretty much, also. So, whatever. I think, sometimes, I purposely try to create something that will alienate me from every body else. I dunno why. That's a good question.

4. I have no idea. Now, I have something to research. Thanks.

5. Why are some folks, men and women, oblivious to body language - while others can interpret so much from a simple expression or gesture? People have come to my home and swore that they have had a real conversation with a dog. My dog is very good at communicating with people through body language and different types of barking, growls, etc. But,some folks don't seem to understand him at all. Another thing is, my son can effectively communicate with people who have speech impediments and other communication barriers.. people who cannot normally communicate well with others are instantly understood by him.

Maybe the men/women communication barrier developed during hunter/gatherer times. Men had to communicate effectively very stealthily and such to hunt or fish.. women were free to yap cause berries don't run away. :D LOLOL
