Greetings from Ibiza!!!

Hello everyone!

I'm glad to have found this group. :-) 

We are an unschooling family of American expats. We are currently having an adventure on the island of Ibiza. We are looking for interesting people to share ideas with and friends from around the world. 

Our oldest daughter is 11 and loves playing guitar and singing, writing stories, baking cakes, minecraft and Dr. Who

Our twin boys are 10 they love making and playing video games (unity, scratch, python, etc), making stop motion animations, minecraft, minecraft, minecraft, and dr who. 

Our youngest daughter is 3 and she loves electronic music, dancing, chasing our neighbors cat, and preventing her mom and dad from ever being alone in a room together.

If you have or know some kids with similar interests we would love to exchange emails and get the kids connected.

We're looking forward to chatting with everyone in the forums.

It's a few months away, but there will be gatherings this summer.  The biggest (and I won't be there, but it's big!) is HesFes, in late July, in SE England:  http://www.hesfes.co.uk/

There will be (I THINK) a little campout near Geneva, late June or early July, and definitely a two-day conference west of London July 14-15.  June 30, Leiden.  English presentations with translation if necessary, on those two.

We are a family of a 2.5 and a 4 year old ( and two so called adults) about to embark on an adventure in Ibiza.

We are not planning any form of 'education' for our children unless either of them express interest and desire for school but are looking to connect with other family's/children. I am delighted to find this thread/ forum and to hear that other  unschooling / home ed families are residing on Ibiza as I have been looking and not finding.

I would really enjoy connecting further if anyone is up for that. We will arrive in May and as are having a hard time finding accomodation so will probably camp for a while which suits us fine.

My work is in somatic therapy / bodywork / dance and my partner is a developer geek and we hope to spend quite a while in Ibiza working on projects through the wonderful www :)

Hiya, we are moving from California to Ibiza in June,
we'd be interested in connecting with other families who
homeschool as well. We have 5 children total, 3 are adults now, then an 8 year
old and a 2 year old. :)

Hello Buddy, Scarlett, and Everyone! It is so lovely to meet everyone here, I am so happy I have found this site! Once things have settled in a bit, I look forward to getting out and exploring. Our home is in Sant Joan (I haven't seen it yet by my husband SWEARS I will love it, lol), so I am looking forward to getting to know the island and meeting people and having the kids meet friends! Hi! My daughter is 11 and loves to play piano and violin and sing. She also loves to bake, draw and dance. We currently live in the states, have traveled a bit these last few years and are planning to move to Hoi An Viet Nam for at least 6 months, starting in November. That will be our first experiment with being expats. If we like it, we'll look at keeping it up! Would love to have other world citizen friends!
