Radical Unschoolers Network

the network for radical unschooling families

Back when I first signed up here over a year ago I wrote an introductory post. Not sure where it disappeared to but alas it has vanished into the aether. So, without further ado.

Hai thar! I'm a single father and radical unschooler. Only my youngest son, X (age 9 now, man how time flies) unschools. My elder son, M (age 16) has chosen "public school" for his own reasons. I work the night shift at a local grocery store and in the day, when I'm not exploring with X, study permaculture, gardening and engineering. Sometimes I even sleep!

Pleasure to make all your acquaintances. I signed up here awhile back and then forgot about this place in the hustle and bustle of life. Thanks for your time!

Welcome! It's fun for me to see other dads here! (wink)

Thanks! We do seem to be in the minority when it comes to this sort of thing, don't we? I attended a local "homeschooling" group awhile back and every adult there was a woman. Not that there's anything wrong with that but it just made me feel like the odd one out, if you will.
