July topic: Travel and journeys of the mind

Since this seems to have lapsed, I'm jumping in - lets have a blog carnival!

Summer is traditionally the season of travel - who's travelling? Where are you going and what are doing for fun these days? Are you going to a conference? Visiting family? Hiding in the back of beyond?

Alternately, where is life taking you metaphorically? What journeys do your kids take you on - into unexpected, uncharted parenting waters? Are they intrepid back yard adventurers?

August topic: Learn nothing today? July 24 is international learn nothing day! What are you planning, what will/did you do for the day? Alternately, meditate on learning. What does it mean to learn anything, much less nothing.

Permalink Reply by Sylvia Toyama on June 7, 2009 at 3:45pm: We'll be traveling in July -- from the 15th to the 26th, so I'll get a trip entry up on my blog during that time. Maybe even one on the life-journey before then, too -- it's been an odyssey of a year.

Not sure how we're gonna learn nothing on July 24th in Hawaii. Maybe we can just laze around on the lanai, eating papayas.....
