Radical Unschoolers Network

the network for radical unschooling families

Hi

My husband and I are planning to home school our daughter Isabella (currently only 8 and a bit months).

I'd love to hear from others in London or the South east who have young children and are unschooling as I don't know anyone at the moment who is interested in home schooling, let alone the notion of being a radical unschooler!

Looking forward to hearing from you and reading others posts - very excited about setting out on this massive adventure!

All the best

Hi Alex, we're on the south coast near Chichester.  There is a yahoo group called south of England unschoolers which Is used to arrange meet-ups in the south. If I remember correctly there are a few London based people on the list keen to meet up, but we do tend to travel a bit to meet people.  Hope that helps a bit. Lou xx

Hi!

I'm a Canadian expat living in Woolwich - unschooling a 3yo and a 6yo.

There is a South London Home ed group that I just started socialising with, and a home ed friend (kids 9,7 &3) and I meet almost every Wednesday afternoon at Greenwich Park (playground on the corner nearest Maze Hill station).

I am still getting the hang of London and adjusting to life here as unschoolers.

Drop me a line!

Hi Emma

Thanks for getting in touch! We live in Haringey in North London - on the Piccadiliy line. Would be great to meet up - let me know if you're up for it. Perhaps a local park cafe if the weather continues to hold out.
