and as you know i have decided to keep RUN going because it is a valuable resource.  i have already paid for the whole year and i'm hoping that members will donate to keep it going.  i figure even if only the active members donate a dollar that should cover the costs for the year.  i may decide to run ads again at some point if donations are not covering it.  if i do choose this option i will make the ads member businesses only like i did in the past, except they won't be free.  if donations do come in regularly, i may still decide to run ads but at a much lower rate than if they are supporting the site.

i'm glad to keep RUN alive and hope you all continue to enjoy!!!

edit:  there is a donate button on the main RUN page in the upper left hand side.

please keep the donations coming!! i know the initial excitement over being free of ads is dying down but try to remember we have many days, weeks, months, and years to enjoy using this site. thanks so much for helping out and being a part of the RUN family!!

it is that time of year again when we pay for the site. the support and donations in the past have been very helpful and heartwarming. this being our second year, the fee doesn't include the initial discount...so it was sort of a shock when i got my paypal notification today. any donations that can go towards that cost are always appreciated.

woah!  it's july?  really??  i am always so surprised when i get that email that says "receipt for your payment to ning, inc." ugh, why is that...you'd think i would be all organized about it.  anyway, donations are always wonderful to get as they really do help offset the costs of keeping this site going.  thank you so much to those who have donated in the past.  to donate, simply click on the "donate" button on the main page.  i also want to say thanks to everyone for their participation in the forums and making this an interesting and worthwhile place to be.
