Yay, my new book is finally published! It's available only in e-book form for the next couple of months. It comes out in book stores in September.

I wrote it before I realized that there was much of an unschooling community, but it's really an unschooler's kind of book. It tells the story of how I suffered in school, resisted it, and finally dropped out and became a successful computer software kind of guy. It also describes my personal method of self-education.

Chapter 1 is titled Dangerous ideas: Schoolteachers Don't Like Me Very Much, and tells how I got banned from speaking at a particular high school (as a visiting lecturer telling kids about working in Silicon Valley) because I told the kids that they didn't need school and if they walked out the door they would be okay.
