the network for radical unschooling families
Hello all!
I am new here and wanted to introduce myself...
We have gone back and forth between homeschooling and unschooling and I think we are getting to a pivotal moment where we may go all the way with the unschooling thing! Yippee!
Anyway, to make a long story short, we live in Japan and are very lonely here. Hardly any homeschoolers let alone unschoolers! So I am wanted to go to an unschooling conference to meet people and get some inspiration...
So I see that there are 2 (maybe more) conferences coming up, one in TX Rethinking Everything and 1 in San Diego Good Vibrations .
Which one should I go to if money were no object??
Thanks heaps!
Jess

Rethinking Everything is more new-age lifestyle. Good Vibrations is really focussed on unschooling.
One is in Texas and one is in California.
Both are in air-conditioned hotels.
Blake Boles took some unschoolers to Japan. He's organized other international travel opportunities, too. If you go to Good Vibrations, maybe you'll meet some families or teens you really like, and could lure some to visit you (or near you) and that could be a secondary benefit, maybe.
