why do americans let get good shows be cancelled? it's not fair to the rest of the world!

chuck did and was luckily reinstated, arrested development got canned and there are only 14 episodes of firefly to be treasured. almost like strawberries in space.
yet utter trash like lost won't die.
why, americans, why?

SORRY :-(

I'm sure we are one of those bad American families. We watch the internet. We use netflix. We read books.
I'm not sure when the last time we watched Prime Time was.
However, If Doctor Who was canceled by BBC then we would be very distraught.

I just don't have time for chuck and some of the other shows. I've watched LOST but it turns out our family watches shows like we eat. Like Netflix has Dirty Jobs and MythBusters streaming and we will sit and gorge ourselves on the show. We will sit hours watching until we get our fill of TV. Then we might not watch any show for awhile. Who would think you could binge on TV.

So, I'm sorry we don't help keep these "good shows" alive.
Good is subjective. :)
