We just moved to the area, and are looking for families to get to know and activites/trips. We are without a car right now, but can manage to get to areas the bus goes.

Hi Marlene,  Our family just moved to the Bradenton area (closer to Myakka City and Sarasota) two weeks ago.  What part of Sarasota are you in?  My kids are 10 (son) and 8 (daughter).  We're always looking to meet new friends:-)

Oh cool same ages:-)  There's another great group on Facebook for Sarasota/Manatee County Un-schoolers.  Find me and I'll add you to the group.  We're working on pulling together a potluck soon so we all can meet.

I know this post was forever ago, however we are in the Sarasota area (well nw Bradenton actually.)  We have 4 children.  

13 and 2 year old sons, and 9 year old and 4 month old daughters.
