Hi Dawn! I just left a message on the WI board not long ago, and then came across this group! We are heavily considering moving to SE WI. Just spent the last couple of days in Kenosha and really dig the pace and feel really great there. I'm trying to get a feel for what's happening in WI for RUs. I'm curious about WI state laws, but most importantly about gatherings that people may or may not have. We've been really spoiled surrounded by various eclectic groups here and wondering if other gather and create a nice RU community in WI??? Would love to hear back from others!

Hi! I am learning how to run with RUN as I go here, hoping to connect with unschoolers in our area. We live on the border between Racine and Kenosha, not far from Bristol. My mate's name is Steve, a self-taught builder and fixer of things, and our four lively children are Hunter (10 yo) who is into legos and trains and lights and gadgets, Echo (8 yo) enamored with dragons and drawing, ladybugs and her cat Sparkles, Hayden (5 yo) in love with Pixar Cars, Herbie the Love Bug, legos and trains (oh, and can't forget Sponge Bob) and Emma, who loves to dress up and bounce and hand out post-it notes :). We hope to meet you!
