I'm another "ATCer", (is that a word?) I don't have tons of space and we're on the go often, so ATCs are the perfect portable art. I enjoy using oil pastels, Sharpies, colored pencils & paints. Bring on lots of color and mess, and I'm happy! I've been trying to learn the art of stamp carving too since we Letterbox.

My main interest is in the area of jewelry making---specifically bead weaving. I also enjoy painting, sewing, pottery, music (singing--writing) I will attempt to create through any medium if it interests me...

stamp carving is a lot of fun. i found that using my lino-cutter on one of those white erasers was a great way to get started making stamps.

I'm into ceramic sculpture - not modern art style, but whimsical, fun, and just whatever comes out of my head, including icosahedrons!

I haven't been doing it long, and only discovered my passion post kids, so I'm kind of biding my time and daydreaming until the kids are old enough to play with me in the mud :)

I'm a designer by profession, and an artist in life. I sing and play music, paint, write, take pictures, make things, and create whatever I can. :)

I agree with Laura about feeling ADD about my creating (funny, avoided the word art there, lol, so I guess I also have the "trouble with calling myself an artist" connection with La :)) The last year has seen the following come and go...

bookmarks made from waxed thread and beads
cross stitch
crocheting
crocheting with plastic yarn made from shopping bags
ATCs

I am currently still dabbling in needle-felting and paper-art (card making, lil books, etc.) and ATCs. I love the fact that the size of an ATC makes it possible to actually complete something, which is not my strong suit ;) any other 7s on the Enneagram scale out there??
Oh, and I also started a business with a friend, making reusable shopping bags out of t-shirts (ecoteebags.com) which often feels like art (when I don't get into sweat shop mode!)

This year I'm going to take my singing into songwriting and teach myself guitar...and that may be all that gets done as far as art goes. Then again, I'm sure my mind, and hands will find their way into other ventures!!

Peace & Abundance, Cid

I like to draw with sukura micron graphics ink pens and prismacolor pencils on tracing paper or matboard. I also like drawing with watercolor pastels and charcoal on well toothed large paper.

I have been doing professional tattoos since I was 15 and am a "second generation" tattooist.
I co-own the Constant Creations Tattoo Studio and Gallery in Spokane WA with my mom, which we are closing January 1st 2009. I performed my first tattoo at age four. I can work in many styles but would have to say that my strongest areas are, Japanese, Fantasy, Graphic, Americana, and Photo realistic. But I work with everything, my average piece takes ten hours.

My best medium is tattooing but the economy is bad and my hand is wearing out so I am getting out of the biz and going to school to be trained as a nurse.

I have worked with ceramics, oil paint, spray paint, watercolors, and acrylics but I prefer a dry medium.
I have participated in film making, photography, installation and many crafts including jewelery making, book making, and hope to execute my plan for a performance art piece about the roll of a traditional American wife and mother. I want to try en caustic someday, but I've heard it's frustrating and toxic.
