Hi Everyone, I'm a graphic Designer living in St. Petersburg Florida and Unschooling my 2 boys ages 10 and 14.  We had a brief lapse of schooling this past year and it didn't work out well.  Made the boys appreciate the way we live.  I am currently working on some designs for greeting cards and some jewelry but mostly I am trying to upgrade my skill and relearning adobe illustrator and microsoft excel and word.  Doing some sketching and photography also.  Trying to build my portfolio, resume back up to reenter the workforce.  Have to get that resume together and upload alot of projects so that I can work on maybe getting a start by taking a few jobs on elance.  I do logos, brochures, bookjackets, t-shirts, package design.  I have been designing some jewlery also when I get bored with working with the computer.  Will let you know here when I finally get my portfolio online and maybe I can get some feedback.  Can't wait to see what everyone else here is up to!

hi all.  I am working on building a portfolio in hopes of gaining apprenticeship as a tattoo artist.  I recently started working in Henna and have been doing pyrography for awhile now.  You can see some of my art on my blog.

I've actually kind of slowed it down from what it was over the last several years. I pulled out of a couple of galleries and I just don't really do much in the way of promoting too much of late. Too many other things to do (mostly get my head together so I can get back to painting)

That said, I'm a painter. I used just about everything I can get my hands on EXCEPT oils. The main reason I don't use oil is that I'm an impatient painter and I live in a temperate rain forest. Not really a good combination that. Wasn't sure if this was for us parents or our children also, but wanted to say Hey to all my fellow artists and take the opportunity to share some of our artwork, too.
