Hello all. We live in the Inland Empire and would love to meet up with any other families/groups out there in SoCal. I haven't found many people at all close to home so branching out to LA, OC and SD is our next step. I would also be happy to help start a group if there are any other families close by.I think I saw a family from Clairmont and San Dimas which is not far from us either.

Hi all.. I'm new on this board.  Possibly moving down to No. Cal. in a couple of mths.  In WA laws/requirements around unschooling are very easy.  I've glanced over the CA laws and they seem to be much more strict. So, I'm just wanting some personal experiences about how you go about complying with CA laws/requirements.  Thanks!

Hello! Live in Burbank CA. Very interested in unschooling. I just don't know where to start. I know the laws for California but that's about it. When the time comes, where do I go to fill out the necessary paper work? When a child is older, what do they need to have in order to be able to go to a college?

Ah, we're pretty far South of you in the Beach Cities area. I don't know of anything in Burbank or thereabouts, but I am sure there is something...

Santa Monica West LA Whole Life Learners

I have also heard there are a number of unschoolers going to the FACE-LA park day in the Glendale/Burbank area.
