My daughter is all jazzed and wants me let anybody who might be interested know: There is a small ANIME FESTIVAL THIS WEEKEND at the Antelope Valley Fairgrounds. Apparently it used to be named Animagic, but they had to rename it Autumn Dream. Cosplayers, voice over workshops, dance, video gaming, AMV contest and more.

I know some teens who are going, and two who are selling art, or hats/ bags/ buttons/ arm warmers at Artist Alley in the afternoons.;-) Hats with great big ears....

Cid from Clovis (Fresno) here :) I was SO excited to find out about Good Vibrations Conference (especially since that name is in the running for the music I'm writing!) and have it on the calendar, along with a reminder of when it's possible to Register :) We went to LIFE is Good this year (our first conference) and I'm stoked to have another one close by...

Good morning. I joined last night as I was falling asleep at the keyboard. I am Robin, living in the high desert, working in Studio City, visiting in Valencia at the moment, with my two teens. Going to visit CHN today, and will be at HSC in ten days. Hoping to get to Dallas for Rethinking Education. Would love to hear more about the San Diego possibility, conference junkie that I am.

Boo Hoo you aren't going. I'll tell you what it is like. I went to womething like it when my daughter was two and then a few waldorf conferences. The second Waldorf conference wasn't fun and too much about "rules"- that was the last conference. I hope this will be fun. We know many people going to it and my daughter is twelve and looking forward to "older" kids gatherings. Are any of you kids into LARP? My kids are just embarking on it.
