Wowee congrats! I can't imagine venturing into the territory of a third babe so i look forward to hearing of your experiences. I'm sure you will find the people you need to support your home birth. I got the book 'Adventures in Tandem Nursing' to help me negotiate all the nuances of nursing while pg ...seems to be pretty safe unless you have a history of complications. Check out kellymom.com as they have some good info on that site. Milk tends to dry up during pg and it may get a little uncomfortable for you if little one keeps nursing but it's possible. My daughter nursed throughout the whole pregnancy and it was a joy when the milk came back in. I just posted an update on our 2 years of tandem nursing and there are lots of really interesting comments from others with their own personal experiences - one person said that her child weaned during pg and then resumed after the birth http://onelovelivity.com/childofnatureblog/?p=2628

Be well. onelove x

cool. if i were u id chk all my options where u r before u chk elsewhere. flyin ova to u isnt ideal for u/any midwife. chk the midwife there... who works as a doula. chk that doctor too. youll find someone. let us know how ya process goes. youll b fine girl. try not to worry bout it.

Thanks Nicole. Yes, i'm already thinking about it, plus like you say in a month, i will start looking for the midwives/doula. I may have to look over in Nassau, but since it is so close they would be able to travel over to GB. I'll also ask the midwife over here who trained the doulas if she would consider it.

There is a dr here who i've heard did homebirths for his wife and friends, not sure if he will be willing but i'll ask if i can't find anyone else.

I just need someone to catch the baby LOL

And if all fails, i guess i may just try UC (unasissted).

Thanks again for the kind words :)

Hey ladies
It's still early BUT..........

I may be getting a chance at my homebirth!

I'm joyously expecting blessing #3!!! I just found out, and i'm almost 5 weeks. Still really early, and i hope everything goes smoothly. You know, no miscarriages!!!

Terri: I know you bf throughout pg. I did also, but my 1st son is nothing like my 2nd. Probably because he is still young @ 18mths, but he wants to nurse ALL DAY!! Do you have any idea how safe it is to bf while pg?
