I am another "someday" unschooler. We are working on becoming debt-free so we can seriously get on the road! We are home-based, in a "stick" home (I love that, as I now do NOT work in a brick and mortar school), in southern New Jersey just outside of Philadelphia.

I've just read through the comments here and so many people are dreaming of "someday". What is holding you back? Make a decision and start living your "someday"! I don't know any independently wealthy FOTR, we are all working (or looking for work) like you, but our homes have wheels. We did pay off most of our debt first and paid cash for our bus. It's nice to know we own our house, we never could say that about our stick homes! PEACE!

This is so cool! We are dreaming of getting out of debt and hitting the road in a few years when our littlest is at least 3. We plan to have a way to make money while on the road (so far we just have a few ideas) and buying our RV outright, and maybe converting it to veggie oil to save big bucks on gas!
I don't know how long we'd go for, but we just want to get to a place where it's possible and we can decide then!!

We're hitting the road for 6 weeks starting September 9th. I started a discussion on the general forum, but for those of you here, where's good to visit? We'll be hitting MN, MI, PA, NH, DC, NC and starting/ending in TX. Also, we would love to visit unschoolers while out and about!
