HI all I was wondering how everyone is doing over here? We are moving along and getting it done ;)
I wanted to drop a quick note to this group. I had a lot of people email me before about my transcribing that i do. Well an unschooling mom has created an inexpensive course on getting started transcribing, that may be just what you are looking for to start working from home. You can find it here. If anyone has any new stories of successes or failures i would love to hear them!

Hi, we're unschoolers with a still-young family in Australia. (We have four girls aged 5 and under.) We're debt-free and my husband is self-employed. Mostly we just live off our savings and are frugal spenders. If we need more money for something, we advertise. We're hoping to sell our house and travel, and then who knows what...???

Hi everyone, we are unschooling in North Carolina and just celebrated our 1 year anniversary of transitioning into Unjobbing! I am a freelance writer and then help hubby with scrap metaling right now which we both enjoy a lot! We trasistioned into unjobbing after hubby had been a manager for 2 fast food places for 11 years resulting in 2 heart attacks by age of 38. Since Unjobbing he has lost 50 pounds and eating my much healthier diet and has not had to take any heart medicine or blood pressure medicine in a year!

Hi everyone! We're unschooling in Indiana and transitioning to unjobbing. We have an online bookstore and I sometimes freelance write science curriculum. John (dh) also buys and resells string instruments for some extra money. We're hoping to build up enough business for him to quit his full-time job by next spring...wish us luck!

Hello! I thought I would check in here. Money is something that we rely on, however our family is very joyfully living on a little under $1400 for 4 of us. I am seeing more of a theme of "I am not my job" here which i think is great. I'm curious to see what other folks do to balance out money and happiness. We keep things pretty simple as far as possessions and living environment. I think I spend the most on food. I'm dreaming of urban homesteading.

Hi All,

I did an update on our journey to being FINANCIALLY FREE awhile back and in there i talked about how I had picked up a transcribing job that is VERY part time and we use that money for fun money. Well our real estate investing business has really taken off and i am no longer going to be typing. I was wondering if anyone is interested in this and i can pass along the information to the person i do the jobs for. There is no guarantee that they will hire you on, but it is very easy and you can do it at any time from any where. I would love to be able to help out another RU family get a little closer to their financial freedom. Email me off list if you are interested!
