Hi, I'm Jennifer and right now we live in Phoenix, AZ, but are planning to move to western IL (Macomb area) in the next few months. I have two kids, an almost 5 year old boy and a 2 and a half year old girl.

I grew up in Illinois and almost all of my family is still there. After living elsewhere for 14 years, I'm ready to come home!

hello, I'm Amie from QC IL we've been homeschooling (unschooling) for a little over 3 years. My friends and I started a local secular group here 2 years ago and it has really grown. Some of us unschool, some do school-at-home and everything in-between!

i am so glad that every one has joined...
i notice a lot of you live in the north...and some i just don't recognize at all. and then there is lonely 'ol me down here in the cornfield. :)

Hi Lesa! Hello to everyone else as well! I am so glad to be here!
I am Shanna and I am in Central IL! I have 3 kiddos (ages 12, 9, and 6) and we have been eclectic/unschoolers/life learners since we started (which in my opionion was the day they were born)!

So glad to join and meet others!

Anyone is welcome, not just those in Illinois.
I am new to homeschooling. My children are 5 and 1 so I have not been to any conference or gathering as of yet but hope to make a plan of it next Spring.

Technically, I don't have an Il address, but I'm close to the border. Can I still hang out here? :) We now live in south central Wisconsin near Janesville, but I grew up in the NW suburbs of Chicago. I was at the HOUSE conference last March. Anyone here who was in the Unschooling Network workshop at that conference?
