Any Whatcom Co homeschoolers out there?

I am in Whatcom Co. My daughter and I are planning to start unschooling my grandchildren at the end of the school year. I am taking a class on homeschooling at Whatcom Co College in May. This will give me the official credential I need to get started. Zoe will be 8 in May & Nick will be 7 in June. I would love to hook up with any local unschoolers to learn all I can.

My kids are older and younger--19.5, 14 and almost 4--than your grandkids, but perhaps I can think of some unschoolers closer to their ages. Also, I would strongly suggest you attend the Life Is Good unschooling conference in Vancouver WA, over memorial day weekend :)

We're looking at Viet Nam for 6+months starting in November. How was your time in Thailand? Did you travel or "live" somewhere? My child is 11. We were in Thailand last year for a couple months and she loved it!
