My children are Drea 17yrs, Annabelle 6 yrs and Maggie 2.5yrs...thanks for the welcome...it looks as though this is a fairly new group, have you had any get- togethers?

Hi all, we are looking to connect with like minded people around Portland! We have tried a couple of other groups and nothing has felt right so far! We are new to "unschooling" although we have been doing it for almost 6yrs now without knowing it! We did the same with Attachment Parenting. We were AP's for 11yrs before we found an actual definition for it (or even looked for one). We're excited!

I don't remember where I heard about ning, but I like the format. Thanks for starting a local group. After I saw you here, I started noticing your posts over at Yahoo also. I recently joined the Always Learning group that you recommended and I think it's probably the best list I'm on.

Dan, afterall, this is where we initially found each other's families right? Dianna had started the PNW group, but I thought it might be fun to start a PDX area group too.
