Hello..I have just signed up on this site and I am excited about meeting fellow unschoolers. I write a blog on our travels this past year since we have gone traveling full time... take a look, and say "hello".

For me it's like driving standard. I'm somewhere between 2nd and 3rd, but can not get it up to 5th. All I can do is keep writing. As for my children, I'm still waiting. Oh so patiently waiting for them to write.

We have some signs about the house. Labels in Spanish and "days since last injury". I have more questions about unschooling writing than I have answers. Say, what do you do if your kiddos keep private journals, and they don't share. It's private of course. If they don't give you permision to publish, then of course I just focus elsewhere.

Faith, it's all about faith. I have this dream about publishing. Either memoirs, non-fiction, novels, or kiddie books. I think of myself as knocking on a door, waiting for it to open, but I haven't tried the durn knob. Monica

I have been creating a section in the HSC Raffle for books, articles, and essays of interest to homeschoolers, BY homeschoolers. Which in the realm of HSC definitely includes UNschoolers. Of course anything could be interesting to somebody, so everything is welcome. Poetry, philosophy, meditation, history, hiking, traveling, cooking, knitting, ATC's, dog-grooming, home-repair, blog entries...I almost forgot fiction!
I would like all work to be signed or inscribed, and dated. With enough response, I will make a binder book of individual articles, if you can mail me nicely printed, signed copies, asap.

Many of the current and past speakers at HSC have sent books and articles already, so the library wall should be stunning. Please invite your favorite wordsmith to contact me.
