Spirituality?!

Both DH and I were raised by hard-core Christians.  We didn't understand or accept the messages of judgement, evil, or a Santa-looking guy that had a nasty temper being God.

 

Now we would not box ourselves in by labeling ourselves at all.  We are certainly, however, living very spiritually rich lives!

 

Both DH and I are youth facilitators at our Spiritual Center.  It is a New Thought center, that focuses on the teachings of Ernest Holmes, and Science of Mind. 

We accept that no matter what name you call your Good (or your God), nor how you choose to celebrate your Life, we are all One.  We focus on Scientific Law and work from the deep residing Knowingness that the Wisdom and Wholeness of the Universe is within.

 

Our DC is amazing in his outpicturing of his Truth.  Hope to talk more later....on my way to work....

I have to agree with you. My hubs was raised a JW and I was a member for 12 years. Now that we have left we both feel that we are more spiritual. Anyway, thank you for posting your experience, it was encouraging.
