About Sojourn

Homestays can be for an afternoon, a night, a week, or longer -- whatever works for the families involved! If you're interested in hosting other unschoolers in your home, treating them to a yummy meal, sharing a fun activity, or serving as a resource guide for unschoolers traveling through the area, then Sojourn is a place to make those connections. My hope is that we can create a network of unschooling families that traveling / vacationing / roadtripping unschoolers can use as a guide for where to find friendly faces and a place to stay for a bit or for a while! A homestay is whatever you make it! It can be a temporary stop along the way to another adventure or it can be a destination for unschoolers who want to "vacation" with another family for a while.

Well, we're heading out to the west coast this summer, tent camping along the way.  Anybody in MO, TX, AZ or CA interested in meeting up?

You could be right Gypsy Mom! :-)

Maybe everyone is too busy traveling :-)

Wondering if many people use this group? Perhaps there is a more active one elsewhere? Advice welcome! My three children and I are travelling to the united states this June. We plan on spending a month there visiting friends and family. It would be great to get in contact with anyone from New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and along our possible road trip between the east coast and Madison Wisconsin :-)

We're here in Indiana, if anyone heads this way :-)   I know this group has been pretty dead, but oh well.

Hi all!

We're a family of 4, living in Liberia (Africa). We would be happy to host anyone traveling to the country, or help them out during their trip.

We live in SoCal (southern California)....about 40 min north of Disney in a town called San Dimas.  Lots to do in our area....hiking, skiing, amusement parks, beach....love to visit with other unschoolers if you are ever in the area!
