I am attempting to post the link to the Byron Katie & Oprah interviews. Let me know if it shows up for you guys. Not sure if I can figure this thing out. :)

Jennifer, I really appreciate you! I am loving the love being spread around here. This is something I can really get into... Big giant smiles!

Thank you for your kindness, Rain and Greenlee. I, too, am sorry if anyone feels hurt or angered by what or how I have shared, here.

I love being open to new perspectives and really get how that supports me as a free-thinker. Thank you all for sharing yours. ♥

OH Rain...gosh, thank you and that was so sweet of you to say...and so unnecessary. :) That's very kind of you.

Thank you so much for your honesty, greenlee.
Today is such a beautiful day for me. The sky is blue and I have just returned from a fabulous walk to the beach.

For anyone I have hurt, confused, manipulated, angered with my words, all I can say is:
I am sorry, please forgive me, I love you, and thank you.

I have appreciated this conversation too. Thank you everyone! I don't think I've ever heard a kinder way for women to disagree. Usually we see disagreement take a form of misunderstanding & sometimes even hostility...and the fact that it lacks that here is really a wonderful thing to me. :)

Yes, I'm glad for the chance to read those links Rain. It really caused me to ask myself some good questions...and it was fascinating to me! What is most interesting to me is how so many people can experience something (like the school) and come out of it with such a different experience. It is as though they were at different events! And I guess they were in the sense that their minds think one thing or another about whatever's going on. :)

This concept of a lens, or a filter fascinates me.

Which brings me to something that I want to mention. You wrote:
"Once I breathed and allowed time to pass, I realized that I felt the way it was written is manipulative, but not from you... only the way the school has done the same to you."

For me this feels unfair. And it doesn't have to BE fair necessarily...but to say that Jennifer's experience of the school for the work (because that was what she was relaying) was coming from being manipulated by the school, or Katie, does her a disservice. She experienced what she experienced, and for her to have been manipulated by what transpired at the school (or by any individual) denies her the autonomy that lives in her. Just as I would not deny those attendees who felt the school was cult like their autonomy, nor would I Jennifer.

And, by the same token, I would not deny you your autonomy. I do not think you are wrong...you feel what you feel. I just think that each one of us wears our own lens for every experience there is to be had, and as I said, it felt unfair to chalk her words and feelings up to just someone who's been indoctrinated or manipulated. (i'm sticking my own words in there :) I felt it was close minded. But I'm open to my own close mindedness too, so I'm grateful for the chance to explore all of this.

Thanks again Rain for being a part of this! :)
