VA casual non con?

After just returning from the high of L&L and a week of magic at Disney World, I symphathize with Silvia in her forum about local Homeschoolers and the all the unlike minded people who make up our day to day lives. Got me thinking about Kelly's' comments on starting smaller non conference gathering....so what do you guys think about trying to organize a very informal gathering, of the group of us ,in the possible near future?? Any comments, ideas,.... lets try to make this happen.

I'm still watching this thread with great interest! We have some big hotels in Fredericksburg that I know have hosted scrapbooking events (so I know they have big meeting rooms). My family drives to Richmond every month or two and Charlottesville not too bad of a drive. What about the science museum where VAHomeschoolers has been holding their conferences?

I'll keep thinking to try to come up with other possibilities.

Any of those locations would be fine with us. I just started a part-time job, so I can't look into things right now, but once a location and date is picked I'd love to help advertise/organize.
