April get-together

Hello all! Yesterday the kids and I joined 3 other families up in Chantilly for a few hrs of lasertag. The kids had lots of fun! We've decided to try to meet monthly somewhere, not always in Virginia, as 2 families are in MD and one is in WV. I said I'd post to this group to see who else might like to join us. For April, we're working on plans to meet on the first Monday at the Frontier Culture Museum in Staunton. I think some of the group is planning to get there Sunday and stay in a campground--that's being researched right now. I live close enough that I won't be camping. I'll try to get messages sent out to individuals, since I don't know if anyone checks this group page regularly.

Zoa is still working out details, and we may end up meeting April 11-12 instead. I'll post more info as I get it.

I believe this is the final plan! Details from Zoa:

Sunday - attend the Dogwood Festival's Carnival in Charlottesville (1-6pm is when it's open)
Sun eve - camp/cabin at Misty Mountain Campground in Charlottesville, cook out/potluck/campfire at campground
Monday - Frontier Culture Museum and eat together in Staunton before heading home

I think this is more manageable for us. Will it work for you? If so, go ahead and reserve your space at the campground:
