I have forgotten to check this list! I will try to do a better job of that....

Welcome back, Sharon, Dick & Maia! We'd be up for a get-together any place.

We're back, too, from Costa Rica...home-exchanging on Whidbey (near Clinton) and hanging out at the cabin near Concrete. Any interest in a get-together in either place? Or just getting together any place:) We'd like to get up to Vancouver for two or three days as well...anyone want to swap their place there for a couple of days at our cabin on the Skagit? I'll post in the PNW group as well.

I'm really cold.

Hi. Were moving to either Bellingham or Seattle (probably bellingham) I have a 12 yo son and and a new baby girl and were looking for new friends. We live in Bozeman, MT and should be back in the NW by the end of may.

I'm a bit of a wallflower as well, but am hoping to step a bit farther into the unschooling communities that surround us and make some friends. Myself, my husband, and my two boys are very excited to attend the Life is Good conference in Vancouver, Wa this year. We've been unschoolers from the start with our boys....wow, going on 12 years now!....but have yet to make a gathering. It's so wonderful that more and more are popping up as the years go on. Here's to making new friends!

I tend to be a bit of a wallflower, but I am stepping out and introducing myself right off the bat. I am mother to three incredible children. And wife to a wonderful man, who is slowly learning to live in the moment and cherish what is truly important.

We claimed the title of "unschoolers" a little less than a year ago, after going to a Life Is Good non-con in February. After being in such a caring, supportive, enjoyable, fun, harmonius environment, I realized I had found a group of people who lived in a way that I had always wanted to, but never had the courage to. Seeing how much everyone enjoyed life and each other gave me the push I needed to set my feet on the RU path. My kids were quick to join. And my husband is watching us, but not quite ready to leave the trailhead.

I am excited at the thought of being able to share this journey with like-minded people and being allowed a small look into the lives of others who are living in joy.

Aloha - I just joined the PNW group and would be thrilled to be welcomed here too even though I don't live in WA. I grew up in Oly, went to Evergreen (my parents taught there when I was growing up) and my three kids (Cyrus 11, Maya 8 and Asha 6) and I spend 5-6 weeks there every year visiting friends and family (unfortunately DH usually stays home and works while we play). I would love to know other RUers to hook up with when we are in town!
