Is anyone headed to the 2010 WPA conference in a few weeks? My family is once again hosting 3 workshops, Apples to Apples, Letterboxing and Artist Trading Cards. We hope to see you there!

Kim - I find myself using Twitter and Facebook. But check in here too, where a lot of people are in one place.

Mariah - We chat on here sometimes, but don't have too many of us yet. I'd love to have it be 'more active'. ;)

Happy to have found you all. Do folks mostly use FB now?

Thanks.

RE: WPA

I saw your workshops! Those look fun - although my boys are young. Are you also attending any, or just doing the workshops?

We might go up just for the connections stuff...my first glance at the unschooling topics seemed like mostly for families curious about unschooling, don't worry, things will be ok. There is one on continuing, so we might go to that just to chat and meet people.

Anyone else going to that one? Any Wisconsinites heading east or west to the bigger unschooling specific conferences this year? :)

Cool! We love starting seeds - makes the whole process more involved, but fun.

We just started our seeds last weekend. We are starting a worm bin (vermicompost) soon - the boys are both excited and creeped out about worms :) .

I came home with arm loads of gardening books. I've never started seeds before, but might give it a try this year. I'm also looking into building our own compost bin and rain barrel. This winter has really motivated me to find my green thumb!
