Share 'teens and sports'

anyone have teens who want to play sports and are taking classes in highschool to play? I'm sorry, but I have such a hang-up with school. I think it is such a waste of time, but want to respect what he wants to try out. There is not a whole lot to offer homeschool teens. My son has homeschool friends that are going to highschool and he is beginning to feel a little left out...yikes!
