Northern New Jersey Unschoolers?

We're thinking about moving to NJ close to NYC. NJ has easy HS laws. I've been looking for groups to find out what the unschooling community or at least easy going hsing groups in the area might be like. I've found 2 inclusive groups only.I've looked on Sandra's site, googled and looked on yahoo groups. There isn't an RUN NJ group on this site.Are there unschoolers in this area? There must be. what does "radical unschooling" mean to you?: It means not having to get up in the morning!

It means seeing my child for who he is and continually discovering what that means and celebrating him for that. It means living in the moment as fully as I can. Respect at the base of all. Having fun. Fun is the most fun thing.

how long have you been unschooling or homeschooling?: Hard to say. Maybe since 2004 years. Maybe from birth. I learned about the word unschooling when Asher was about 3 or 4 and it was a (mostly) easy outgrowth of the way were we living.

first names of children: Asher born at the end of 1999.

a little about me: I'm an actor who doesn't work very often. I love hanging out, dancing (don't do that so much- thanks for the reminder to dance), movies, hiking, eating, healing modalities. Meditating-(oh thanks again for the reminder). I love laughing.

I started an unschoolers group. This is us here http://groups.yahoo.com/group/smwla/

This is my first social network I've joined. Not sure how it works but I'll wander around and find out. I don't write a lot but I like the idea a lot.
