what does "radical unschooling" mean to you?

I'm not going to try to teach my children who or what to be and do in life. Learning is a natural part of life, they can do it together with me and with every thing they find along the joyful road, or they can do it fighting though the structure around them to find out what works, or perhaps never finding out.

how long have you been unschooling or homeschooling?

It's been about a year since I fealt strongly like this was the right way for us to homeschool. However my children are still 3 and 4 and at this point is really just about helping them to enjoy life.

I Love the moments that force me to stop breathing and observe the greater movement. Art, Writing and Literature, Gardening, and generally just being outside bring me focus and calm. Right now I am a student of everything that grows at Utah State University. I believe in real people, food, and experiences. I am married to a Tango Loving Argentine and we have a dual-language home.
