thank you for welcoming us to the group! we are trying to keep warm, hope you are too and hope the ice storm wasn't too bad for you guys. My brother actually lives in worcester and got hit pretty bad by that storm in dec! We are just getting started with schooling so thought we should get involved in some groups to get ideas.

You will have to let me know when you are coming out this way. Maybe you could take a side trip and come to visit. The bad part is, we are about an hour and a half outside of Philly, depending on where you will be.
We would love to have you visit if you find the time! As far as conferences, those days have ended for me :(.

So you are in Worcester? We used to go to Higgins Armory a lot, back when we lived out there. My son loved it! We also used to go to the science/animal place out there, not sure what it used to be called, but know it is now called; the Ecotarium. The main things I miss about Boston are all the places to go and learn from!! We live in the most culturally dead place I have ever been.

It has taken me forever to write back to everyone...sorry! Where in New England are you? We used to live in Lynn, outside of Salem, until ten years ago. Now we live in Lancaster County, in PA. We are going back in May for my daughter's 18th Birthday. We go back at least twice a year, if funds allow :)
Your kids are adorable! We rent a house adjacent to an Amish farm, but your place looks so much nicer and more in the country then we are!

Hi Beth - I remember you and your wet baby :o).

So you guys are in Worcester? We're not nearby, unfortunately. We're down in West Bridgewater.

Lizzy does the knitting sometimes. My favorite part is the social stuff. I love to walk in there and just sit and chat with the moms and kids hanging out. It's also awsome to walk in and hear how great my kid is every week.

Lizzy is loving Think Tank. She took US History and Creative Writing this fall. The classes are good and the people are really cool. It's great for her to know she's not the only teen in Worcester not in school. They think it's very cool that she's still so smart and interesting even though she went to school for so long : )

Hi Beth
How are you guys hanging in with this horrible winter? Lizzy and I are reading and on a Buffy the Vampire Slayer kick : )
