what does "radical unschooling" mean to you?

It means allowing the natural flow of learning to occur, w/o the pedagogy of orthodox traditional teaching styles to dominate.

how long have you been unschooling or homeschooling?

We have been experimenting witha combination of traditional schooling (2 1/2 hours/day at public school), experimental discovery home schooling science program while fomenting creativiy in every activity we choose to do at home or anywhere we go.

a little about me

I have a partial doctorate in Ed Admin, an MS in Ed and teaching certifications. I have been actively involved in non-traditional learning for more than 15 years as tutor, facilitator, guide and always a learner. I am currently involved in starting 2 democratic educational programs for school aged children in Rochester.
