Stacy Navarrow is her name. She doesn't unschool yet, but she is absolutely wonderful! Do you know where Carmichel is (not sure if that's spelled right)?

Hi there, I noticed you are in Sac. My wonderful, best buddy lives there. Do you belong to their unschooling group (SUN, I think)?

It's fabulous to have you as a friend Bronwen! I look forward to talking with you more and exploring the beauty of taking responsibility for ourselves and our own happiness. :) ((((hugs))))

I just wanted to tell you, we recently watched the movie Master and Commander, and there's a scene where the captain asks the doctor, "see those weevils on the plate? which would you choose?" the doctor says, "well, they're exactly the same, so neither" the captain insists he choose, so the Dr. says, "well, the bigger one I suppose" and the captain says, "wrong, my good doctor, you must always choose the lesser of two weevils!" Solstice, who is ten, was not familiar with the original phrase, and so we discussed, at length, the "two evils" concept, and the humor of the scene. The next time we watched the movie he just about fell on the floor laughing, and now he is constantly finding examples of choosing the lesser of two weevils. I thought you might be able to relate! ;)

Cool! Your name isn't one to forget and I remember someone named Bronwen that used to post there because I liked her writing.:)
It would have been in 2000/2001 probably. Anyway, glad to see you again! I've missed those old forums sometimes. Maybe this will be the new lively way to connect.
