lol, I know, it was a massive compost heap. We had this new idea to get even more of our circle gardens prepared instead of creating another chicken dome so decided to do a big compost heap enclosed with hay bales. It worked really well and got all the material from our garden and weeds from our ponds and horse poo from a side of the road somewhere...
Anyway, that compost has been used now and we don't have one like that anymore. I decided it was just too much work to maintain a compost - the chicken dome just works so well, especially when I have no time to be digging compost all the time.
We are getting to the time now where the garden is about to explode with life, this year I'm more organised, hooray!

I was a regular at Unschooling Discussion back in the day...no longer though.
I know you from IT..you sent me a very sweet woven ATC, Maori style.:) We were both part of the first circle journal too.
He didn't appreciate it being done to him, but seemed to not recognise that that *might* be how I felt about the matter.
I hope you get a "normal" day today :0)
Nice to see you here.
