I was in a chat at Sandra's chat site the other day and apparently I promised to hold a chat here for those interested in talking about being new to unschooling. I think we'll be doing something similar at Sandra's place soon, so look for that as well.Join in to ask and answer questions about being new to unschooling. All are welcome!!!The time will be 3-6 pm EST, Sunday 2/15See More
Radical unschooling is to me inseparable from full acceptance of each person for whom they are at any given moment. Noncoercive. Seeking to see life, to create life in joy. I often call it life learning, too. It is a journey and not really an end point.
how long have you been unschooling or homeschooling?
I have homeschooled for all but 1.5 years of the 16 years I've been a parent. We have unschooled since March 1, 2007.
first names of children

a little about me
I am right now an ER doc. I am outgrowing this, though, and am ready for a change. I have some ideas for achieving that but they are embryonic! Sigh....

Hey there my Easterly Nieghbor. I was happy to hear from you. We are leaving for Oregon the end of this month. If the weather was more pleasant here I would jump in the van and drive over to see your lovely crew. The kids had so much fun chucking eggs with you and completely enjoy spending time with your family. We have spent a long winter here at Cactus Quarry. We were snowed in a total of four weeks. We tie dyed, my new passion, played games, watched movies, danced, cooked and generally had a good time. We are however looking forward to a more active life in Oregon. Much love to you. If the weather breaks I will get over to see you before we head out.
Hello Cameron! I have been thinking of your daily, but feel as if this wonderful whirlwind is just spinning and spinning. WAIT it is called life! The kids and I are headed to Oregon next week and finishing our swim team this weekend. Maybe we can get together when we get back in September? BIG HUG TO YOU AND YOUR CREW!
Hello Cameron- I saw you on the MT Unschooler group & wanted to say hi! I'm all the way in Dillon, MT so I guess we're at oppistite sides of the state! It's still nice to see that there are other unschoolers out there though!
I really like your description of radical unschooling, you really hit the nail on the head.
I think it would be nice if all us MT unschoolers could get together, what fun that would be!
