what does "radical unschooling" mean to you?: Radical unschooling is to me inseparable from full acceptance of each person for whom they are at any given moment. Noncoercive. Seeking to see life, to create life in joy. I often call it life learning, too. It is a journey and not really an end point.

how long have you been unschooling or homeschooling?: I have homeschooled for all but 1.5 years of the 16 years I've been a parent. We have unschooled since March 1, 2007.

first names of children: Granville, age 16
Emily, age 13
Burke, age 10

a little about me: I am right now an ER doc. I am outgrowing this, though, and am ready for a change. I have some ideas for achieving that but they are embryonic! Sigh....

The kids had so much fun chucking eggs with you and completely enjoy spending time with your family. We have spent a long winter here at Cactus Quarry. We were snowed in a total of four weeks. We tie dyed, my new passion, played games, watched movies, danced, cooked and generally had a good time. We are however looking forward to a more active life in Oregon. Much love to you. If the weather breaks I will get over to see you before we head out.
