Wonderful anime convention in Columbus, OH! A nice size - big enough to be interesting and busy, not so big you can't find get-away places. We met a few friends there last year, and it added so much to the trip! Hoping to meet more unschoolers there this year. Just a short jaunt from the Waterpark Gathering! :DSee More

Providing the optimal environment for natural learning to flourish: respect, open-mindedness, curiosity, acceptance, seeing things from the child's perspective, honoring my kids' choices even if they make me uncomfortable, communication, generosity, kindness

how long have you been unschooling or homeschooling?: Unschooling since '99; really *getting* radical unschooling since 2004,or thereabouts (It was a process)
