- a little about me
- I like to be outside, hiking, exploring nature, smelling the flowers. I was an actor in my pre-family life and maybe I'll get back into that when time allows. I'm passionate about the theatre. I enjoy singing about everything and I'm a sucker for comic timing. I love a good laugh. I read a lot these days. Spiritual reading, Unschooly reading, plays, current issues, and environmental issues. I'm excited about building more and more community with other unschoolers.

Yes. We will hope to see you all soon too. We are getting out more and more now that Lilla is craving more interaction. She is really wishing we had more kids living near to us. It is hard being such distances from others. Tomorrow is going to be our 5th day to "town" this week. That is lots of travel time for us! I am ready for a down day. ;)

I can make you some pads anytime. I could certainly use any other colors or fabrics you like too. I have all sorts of colored velours, etc. I have been using bamboo velour with pretty microfleece backings and wings for some color contrast and wetness protection.

where do you live again?
That was our 2nd time at Airborne and we love it! I was hesistant to go for a long time. But with Bluin recently telling me he wasn't shy anymore, I knew we were ready to head out to the gym. Within minutes of entering the gym I had no idea where he was. Cool! So great to see him feely comfy without my leg. And even more cool to know he knows that he is ready for that too.
Yes. Indulgent eh? I can't wait to get the Wii hooked up! After our trip to WY, we might just have to open it up for Solstice. Grama has gotten us a couple of games too for the future excitement. I think I might even be more excited than the kids will be--though they don't know we have indulged yet.

sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you. i just recently joined facebook actually and am feeling very overwhelmed w/ so many e-mails from people i haven't seen in years!
Your dad would be welcome to come along for thanksiving of course, but i understand if you would like to spend time w/ him alone!
i found unschooling through my friends in Minneapolis who were in my AP group. A bunch of them had discovered scott noelle and then i got some coaching from scott, too. anyway, it just made total sense to me especially as a former teacher myself.
my husband is working for a start up right now. he's a business management guy.
gotta run for now, but hope to see you soon!
We live south of Denver in Highlands Ranch. We are also loving the unschooling life! Shae is our little princess always dressed up in pretty dresses. Riley is our little explorer...loving to be outside.
We'd love to join you for a hike sometime. Let me know when you're available.
