what does "radical unschooling" mean to you?: forward thinking, making changes in our child's future.

how long have you been unschooling or homeschooling?: I have yet to begin I am looking for help to start.

first names of children: Orion - 9 and Ryder - 9 months, a future student of life

a little about me: Im a mother that cant stand my child's unhappiness any longer. I love them too much to let others break down their spirit. Im 28 yr. old. happily married. I went to college for drug and alcohol counselling but I have yet to finish with a degree, I will get there.

I assume you have been considering what to do to help your child and homeschooling or unschooling is an option for him and your family? Have you done any reading on the topic of unschooling? If not there is some very good literature and articles that people could refer to you. I also had my first child when I was eighteen, I had to wait a bit but I was able to finish my degrees. I'm sure you will as well when the time is right. We need more good drug and alcohol counselors in this world:) Good luck and please let me know if you would like suggestions on reading materials or sites. You could also search for like minded people in your town through this network.
