"I'm pretty sure not Bema, maybe we are all too busy or something? Hard to say, it would be so awesome if we could coordinate some things for the state...or something LOL. But no, not much movement it would seem."

what does "radical unschooling" mean to you?
Good question, I've been intrigued by the name since I saw it. Aggressively not schooling maybe? Rip out the old way and in with the new? Not sure, I'll have to think about that.
how long have you been unschooling or homeschooling?
3 Years
first names of children
Heather, age 12
a little about me
Fine Artist homeschooling for the first time. Actually, for the first time with one of my children. We've been homeschooling, primarily unschooling, now for 3 years.

We are heading more and more toward self sufficiency with fun little project of stuff as much as we can on our one acre. We used to breed German Shepherds. Not anymore :-) A whole lot of work. But we still have 4 of them and a little dude Chihuahua named Steve.

We are currently producing meat rabbits for our use, soon to be for sale, (hopefully this summer) goats for milk and meat, chickens for eggs and meat, and wow...what do do with all that manure? Composting worms. You can see some of what we are doing and see some humorous updates on my blog

I also have an art Blog with my art. Heather and I are working on some projects together that I will be showcasing there -

I will let her know, absolutely! And if you guys ever get into the Twilight fever and come out this way, let us know and we'll meet up with you. :-)

We resisted Twilight as long as we could. Then Heather said she thought she might want to get the books (last year around Easter), just give it a shot. So we did it. LOL Oh boy! She loved them! I just can't believe how the sleepy little town of Forks has just ballooned with visitors. Weird.

Anyway. More to see out here than Forks to be sure. See Olympic National Park or want to know where the best beaches outside the park are. We'll point you in the right direction :-)

Hi, Christine! I also have a 12 going on 16 yo ....we live all the way over in Bellingham, so not close enough to hang out, but if your daughter is on deviant art, neopets, mibba, facebook....the list goes on....she can hook up with my son, Otto! Email me off-list for his info if she's interested :)
