Where to post?!

OKay, I am sooo awfullly bad at putting things down on paper blog pages! I am keeping a blog at blogspot and I have the option for one here.. so now I have to make a choice to write here, there, here AND there or here OR there! OH NO! Well, I suppose I can try to bring things here since it is nice to have most everything in one spot/area! I do have a link here, to my other blog--so that it can be cross referenced, if need be. Let's see if I have it in me to be more taskful(hmm is that a w… Continue

I missed most of the Ren talk today too! I forgot all about it actually and remembered the last half an hour, then didn't know what to say because I didn't want to repeat stuff!

Hi Dawne, I just happened upon your page, and had to view your photos when I saw you were from Maine! It did my heart good to see them. When I was a kid, my brothers and I used to spend part of our summers at Upper Sysladobsis Lake (near Lincoln) with my grandparents. Some of my most fond, peaceful memories are of that time and place. I can't wait until I can take my own kids to Maine! Thanks for sharing your photos! -Kim

Very exotic, that tunnel of multi-colored trees! Something cool about it: There's shade on the road. That's rare here. :-) Some of our trees do get yellow. And we have miniature oak bushes called scrub oak. Those turn red.

This is the part of New Mexico I grew up in, north central. If you click it to enlarge, and you look up on the hillside on the upper right (not upper left, which I posted the first time; sorry), that reddish stuff is scrub oak. There's some in and under the trees, too, no doubt, but not much. And see how the road is all sunny and hot? Yeah. That's what fall looks like in New Mexico. But it smells like green chile roasting, and like apples, up north sometimes.

Hi Dawne, things are going great for us! Thanks for asking. We are getting into the groove of things much faster than I had predicted. I'm so happy we made this transition. My family is thriving! I am on unschoolingmaine, however I have yet to participate but when I do I will make sure to give you a shout out. Thank you for your support.
