what does "radical unschooling" mean to you?
I've written a book about my view of what this means, titled "Deep Intelligence: Giving Our Young the Education They Really Need" (see my website at www.andrewseaton.com.au). n/a. I'm an educationist who has come to advocate educating our young outside schools.

a little about me
I am an independent academic, author and consultant in unschooling. I have a background in teaching at primary, secondary and tertiary levels, and in advisory and leadership roles relating to shifts in educational theory, policy and practice. I have taught, written coursework and conducted research for several Australian universities. I have had numerous writings
published in professional and academic journals and books. My award-winning doctoral thesis, completed in 2005, is titled, ‘Investing in Intelligence: An Inquiry into Educational Paradigm Change’.

Your research seems focused on convincing and promoting a more open learning approach. But this site focuses on helping people make unschooling work for their family. Basically, anyone here doesn't need convinced this is the right approach! :-) They already know it is and are here to figure out how to get out of their own way, how to see their children and learning differently so they can make choices that help unschooling flourish.
