what does "radical unschooling" mean to you?: Letting my child choose his own path.

how long have you been unschooling or homeschooling?: We've been homeschooling since he was almost four when we let him drop out of nursery school because they wouldn't let him wear his Superman costume. Sometimes I feel as if we are always just starting to unschool, because each time I let go of yet another "should" it feels like, "oh, this is truly unschooling!"

first names of children: Edward - he's 9

a little about me: I was schooled but managed to squirm out of it in the end, so I never finished high school or college, and yet I have a terminal degree in my field (a MFA in Theatre) -- go figure! I also have a degree in health counseling, and I am always learning.
